Is the sync one-way or two-way?

Two-way. Orders, inventory, products, customers and refunds flow from Shopify to your sheet in real time, and you can edit tags, notes, product details or available quantities in the sheet and push them back to Shopify.

How quickly does the sheet update?

Changes arrive via Shopify webhooks, so a new order or stock change updates its row right away rather than on a schedule. An hourly reconcile and a one-click backfill catch anything missed.

What happens if a sync fails?

You get an email or Slack alert immediately, the failed run is logged in the app, and you get a notice when it recovers. Nothing fails silently.

How far back does it sync order history?

The last 60 days by default, which is what Shopify grants apps. Full order history is available on request once Shopify approves the extended orders scope for your store.

Does SyncNest store my customers' data?

No. Row values live only in your Google Sheet. SyncNest keeps Shopify record IDs and content hashes for idempotent syncing, and your Google token is stored encrypted and deleted when you disconnect or uninstall.

GOOGLEHow SyncNest uses your Google data

SyncNest asks for three Google permissions and uses them only for the sync you set up. Google Sheets access (spreadsheets) reads and writes the sheets you choose to sync. Drive file access (drive.file) lets SyncNest create the sheets it makes for you and open only the files you explicitly pick. It cannot see anything else in your Drive. Your Google account email (userinfo.email) is shown in Settings so you know which account is connected. Your Shopify data is written to your own sheet; SyncNest does not keep the row values. The Google refresh token is stored encrypted and deleted the moment you disconnect Google or uninstall. SyncNest's use of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
