These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BillNest: GST Invoice India ("App") provided by AppNest Studio ("we", "our", "us"). By installing and using the App, you agree to these Terms.
1. Description of service
BillNest is a Shopify application that generates India-GST-compliant tax invoices, credit and debit notes, proforma invoices, delivery challans, and Bills of Supply, and produces GSTR-1 / GSTR-3B reports and a CSV invoice register.
2. Account and access
To use the App, you must have a valid Shopify store and grant the App the required permissions (read_orders, read_products, write_products, read_customers). You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Shopify account and for the accuracy of the tax settings (GSTIN, HSN/SAC codes, rates) you configure.
3. Plans and billing
- Free: up to 50 invoices/month; automatic invoice generation.
- Starter: higher quota, credit/debit notes, custom branding, and bulk generation.
- Growth: GSTR-1/GSTR-3B exports, bulk ZIP, and multi-currency.
- Enterprise: unlimited invoices and multi-GSTIN / multi-branch numbering.
Billing is handled through Shopify's native subscription system. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time through the App or your Shopify admin.
4. GST accuracy and your responsibilities
- The App computes GST based on the settings you provide (GSTIN, HSN/SAC codes, rates, place of supply). You are responsible for ensuring these are correct for your business.
- The App is a document-generation and reporting tool. It exports GSTR-1/GSTR-3B data; it does not file returns with the GSTN portal on your behalf.
- The App does not generate e-invoices (IRN/QR); where e-invoicing is mandatory, you remain responsible for IRN generation through an authorised system.
- You are responsible for verifying generated documents and for your own compliance and record-keeping.
5. Limitations
- Some operations (bulk generation, ZIP export, reports) run asynchronously and respect Shopify's API rate limits; large operations may take longer during peak times.
- Shopify returns orders from roughly the last 60 days unless the protected historical-orders scope is approved.
6. Data and privacy
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We handle your data in accordance with Shopify's API terms and GDPR requirements.
7. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DO NOT PROVIDE TAX, LEGAL, OR ACCOUNTING ADVICE, AND WE DO NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION. WE ARE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.
8. Limitation of liability
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify store. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access if these Terms are violated.
10. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
