1. Agreement
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of ReportNest ("the App"), a Shopify application published by AppNest Studio. By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms.
2. What the App does
ReportNest reads your Shopify orders and refunds, keeps a local mirror of them in Shopify Finance terms, and builds sales, product, tax, discount and refund reports from it. Reports can be run on screen, downloaded as CSV or XLSX, and delivered on a daily, weekly or monthly schedule by email and Slack, each delivery leaving a receipt. Financial reports print Shopify's own order count and total for the range next to the report's, so the two can be compared. Features available depend on your selected plan.
The App is read-only with respect to your store: it requests no write scopes and never creates, modifies or deletes Shopify data.
3. Eligibility and your responsibilities
You must have an active Shopify store to use the App. You are responsible for keeping your Shopify account secure, for the email addresses and Slack webhook you configure as delivery destinations, and for confirming that anyone you send reports to is entitled to receive them. Reports may contain your store's financial figures; choose recipients accordingly.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to violate any law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt, overload or reverse-engineer the service.
5. Plans, billing and cancellation
Paid plans are billed exclusively through Shopify's billing system and appear on your Shopify invoice. You can upgrade or downgrade at any time from the Plans page in the App; changes take effect through Shopify and are reflected in the App automatically. Uninstalling the App cancels the subscription through Shopify. We do not charge you outside of Shopify.
Downgrading may reduce the number of scheduled deliveries your plan allows. When that happens the oldest schedules within your new allowance stay active and the rest are paused, and the App tells you so.
6. Accuracy of reports
ReportNest computes figures from the order and refund data Shopify provides, using Shopify Finance definitions, and shows a tie-out comparison against Shopify's own totals wherever the range allows it. We work hard to make these numbers correct and the tie-out exists precisely so you can verify them, but the App is a reporting tool, not an accounting, tax or audit service. You remain responsible for reviewing figures before relying on them for filings, statements or decisions, and for consulting a qualified professional where appropriate.
7. Privacy and data
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We act as a data processor for your store data and do not sell it. The App stores no buyer names, email addresses, phone numbers or postal addresses. Uninstalling the App deletes everything we hold for your store.
8. Availability and support
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We aim for high reliability, alert you when a scheduled delivery fails or misses its slot, and keep a receipt for every send, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. Third-party services (Shopify, email and messaging providers) may impose rate limits or experience outages beyond our control. Support is available at support@appnest.studio.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppNest Studio is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for lost profits, revenue or data, arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the twelve months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it from your Shopify admin, which deletes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for a breach of these Terms.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms as the App evolves and will revise the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
12. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory protection you have under the law of the country you live or trade in.
