These terms govern use of RankNest ("the App"), published by AppNest Studio ("we", "us"). Installing the App means you accept them.

1. What the App does
RankNest audits the public storefront of the Shopify store it is installed on, groups the defects it finds by the template that produces them, and — where you have connected Google Search Console and are on a plan that includes it — orders that list by the revenue of the affected pages.
The App is read-only. It requests no write permission and cannot change your products, content, theme, redirects or any other part of your store. Every change it recommends is yours to make.
2. What the App does not do
- It does not edit your store, rewrite metadata, inject structured data or create redirects.
- It does not track keyword rankings, gather backlink data, do keyword research, or analyse competitors.
- It does not guarantee any search ranking, traffic level or revenue outcome. Search engines rank pages on criteria they control and change without notice.
The revenue figures shown are an estimate of the revenue already flowing through the affected pages, derived from your own Search Console and order data. They are an indication of what is at stake, not a forecast of what fixing an issue will earn. Where the inputs are missing the App shows a dash rather than a number.
3. Your responsibilities
- Keep your Shopify account and any connected Google account secure.
- Review any change before you make it. The App describes what it found and suggests a fix; the judgement, and the edit, are yours.
- Do not use the App to audit a store you are not authorised to act for. The Agency plan's client stores each grant access explicitly, by redeeming a single-use invite from their own admin.
4. Plans, billing and limits
Billing is handled by Shopify Managed Pricing; we never see your payment details. Plans, prices and the page limits attached to them are shown in the App and on this site.
Each plan has a limit on pages per audit and a monthly page budget. Reaching the monthly budget stops further audits until the budget resets at the start of the next month, or until you move to a larger plan. The App shows how much of the budget is used before it runs out.
Charges are billed by Shopify to your Shopify invoice. Cancelling or uninstalling stops future charges; Shopify's own refund rules apply to charges already made.
5. Availability
We aim to keep the App available and its scheduled audits running, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The App depends on Shopify's APIs, on Google's APIs and on your storefront being reachable; an outage in any of those can delay or fail an audit. When an audit cannot complete, the App records that and tells you, rather than presenting a partial result as a finished one.
6. Data
Our handling of your data is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
7. Liability
The App is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law we exclude implied warranties, and our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of the App is limited to the fees you paid for it in the twelve months before the claim.
We are not liable for lost revenue, lost rankings, or the consequences of a change you made to your store — whether or not the App suggested it.
8. Termination
You may uninstall the App at any time from your Shopify admin. Uninstalling deletes your data as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for misuse, for non-payment, or where continuing would breach Shopify's own terms.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected here with an updated date. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
