These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of GuardNest ("the App"), a Shopify application published by AppNest Studio. By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
GuardNest checks that your storefront is still able to sell: it requests pages such as your home page, a product page, add to cart and checkout on a schedule, counts orders per hour against your store's own baseline to detect a flat-line, records changes to products, collections and themes, and alerts you when something breaks and again when it recovers. Check frequency, the number of monitored checks and history length depend on your selected plan.
2. Accounts & access
You must have an active Shopify store to use the App. You are responsible for the checks you configure, the alert recipients you set, and for any storefront password you provide so the App can reach a password-protected store.
3. What the App changes in your store
Nothing. The App requests read-only access to products, inventory, orders and themes. It does not create, modify or delete anything in your store, and it adds nothing to your theme. Its storefront checks are ordinary HTTP requests that do not place orders.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to monitor a store you do not own or operate, to violate any law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
5. Billing
Paid plans are billed through Shopify's native billing system according to the plan you select. Charges are handled by Shopify; refunds and cancellations follow Shopify's billing policies. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the App or your Shopify admin.
6. Data
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We act as a data processor for your store data and do not sell your data. Order data is used only as an hourly count for flat-line detection. Uninstalling the App deletes everything the App stores for your store.
7. Availability & disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. It is a monitoring aid, not a guarantee: a check can pass while something else is broken, and an alert can be delayed or missed because of an outage, a rate limit or a network failure beyond our control. You remain responsible for the availability of your store.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppNest Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost sales arising from your use of the App, including from an alert that was delayed, missed or raised in error. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the preceding three months.
9. Changes & termination
We may update these Terms and the App from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory protection you have under the law of the country you live or trade in.
