These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of BillNest Global ("the App"), a Shopify application published by AppNest Studio. By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms.
1. The service
BillNest Global issues invoices and credit notes for your paid orders: a sequential, immutable number, the notes your tax regime requires, and the tax figures taken from the order's own tax lines. It supports EU reverse charge with VIES validation, OSS, UK VAT, Australian and New Zealand GST, Canadian GST/HST and US sales tax, in twelve document languages. It can email the PDF, export a CSV register and a ZIP archive, and backfill past paid orders. Monthly document volume and features depend on your selected plan.
2. Accounts & access
You must have an active Shopify store to use the App. No other account is required. You are responsible for the seller details, tax registrations and numbering you configure, and for checking that the documents the App produces are correct for your obligations before you rely on them.
3. What the App changes in your store
Nothing. The App requests read-only access to orders and customers. It creates no products, edits no orders, and adds nothing to your theme. The documents it produces are stored by the App and delivered to you.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use the App to violate any law, infringe others' rights, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service.
5. Billing
Paid plans are billed through Shopify's native billing system according to the plan you select. Charges are handled by Shopify; refunds and cancellations follow Shopify's billing policies. You can change or cancel your plan at any time from the App or your Shopify admin.
6. Data
Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. We act as a data processor for your store data and do not sell your data. Issued documents are fiscal records and are kept while the App is installed.
7. Availability & disclaimer
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. It is invoicing software, not tax advice: tax rules, rates and thresholds change, and you remain responsible for the accuracy and filing of your own tax documents. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and Shopify or third-party services may impose rate limits or outages beyond our control.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AppNest Studio is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any tax, penalty, interest or loss arising from a document the App produced. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the App in the preceding three months.
9. Changes & termination
We may update these Terms and the App from time to time; continued use constitutes acceptance. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms.
10. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra have non-exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them. Nothing in this section removes any mandatory protection you have under the law of the country you live or trade in.
